With the aim of promoting knowledge and given the shortage of professionals, Mais Verde taught the first free Basic Carpentry Course for the local community.

Forestry Consultancies
Guidance on the management and thinning of African Mahogany, as well as the use of thinning wood in the current market, through on-site consultancy or with a visit to the Ribeirão dos Paulas Farm and the Industrial Plant.

Value added
It produces long-lasting wood, exceptional beauty and good workability, with a forest resistant to fire, humidity and pests. It is a species with consolidated demand on the international market and increasing value.
Sustainability
It replaces, in almost all aspects, Brazilian Mahogany (in extinction and prohibition of cutting native ones) and maintains several environmental services during its cycle, recovering abandoned pastures without the risk of invasive dispersion.
Productivity
It reaches a height of 9 to 13 m and grows in diameter by 2.5 cm per year, on average.
